Will a GroupWise 5.5.5 client attach to a GroupWise 6.5 server okay for a temporary period of time? IT Staff will need time to update all of the clients manually. Want to make sure there will be no immediate loss of function after we upgrade GroupWise 5.5.5 to 6.5... Is it possible to run Groupwise 6.5 clients with Groupwise 5.5 server? I have a bit of problem and not sure which way I should tackle this one. I have 2 x Netware 4.11 servers, which will be upgraded to Netware 6.5 and one of these servers have Groupwise 5.5 which will be upgraded to Groupwise 6.5. The one server is being used for Groupwise archiving and currently setup for UNC for archiving, i.e. p:ab_hp, on this server I was planning on using the migration wizard as this server also holds the user data. On the 2nd server which Groupwise is running and the clients are configured for tcp/ip connectivity to the groupwise system. We have just installed a Groupwise 6 post office and are gradually moving our Groupwise 5 users onto the system. The Groupwise 5 post office still exists and is used by the majority of our users. Our Helpdesk staff need to be able to login to mailboxes which are on both the Groupwise 5 and Groupwise 6 Post Offices. Can both clients exist and work on the same PC ? i have a user that is getting the same e-mail from a cient she has. she's getting socres of the same e-mail. i made her logout of groupwise. i also see other mail disappear as this multipule e-mails come in. anyway i can stop this. this client's e-mail address is legit. Hi, I'm trying to run both the Outlook client and the GroupWise client on my Vista PC. I would like to be able to launch Outlook and access my Exchange mailbox and then, not necessarily at the same time, launch the GroupWise client and access my GroupWise mailbox. Can this be done? Has anyone done this? Outlook 2003 was running fine until I installed the GroupWise v6.5.4 client. The GroupWise client works fine however when I launch Outlook now it shows the Outlook window in the background but then the login prompt from the GroupWise client. I think the answer is no, but I would like to make sure. I am installing GW7 on a test email system and we are running GW 65 on our production system. Is there any way I can run the 6.5 client (to connect to our production system) and the 7 client (to connect to our test system) on the same machine (Win XP). I dont need to run them at the same time, but would like to have them on the same machine.
